Welcome to Jump Lift Sprint. I’m Mustafa Tahir, a born and raised Londoner of Iraqi descent and a real health and fitness geek.
I was a pharmacist for four years, before deciding to escape a life of soul-crushing monotony. I made the switch to coaching as I love learning, teaching, and helping others. I’ve played football my whole life, trained in boxing, and recently started Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
My passion is improving athletic performance (I’ve helped amateur boxers, kickboxers, footballers become faster, stronger, fitter), as well as training ‘regular’ people to look better in a t-shirt. I’ve delivered workshops & seminars too.
My training philosophy is pretty simple and can easily be summed up by the title of this blog – Jump Lift Sprint. That’s it.
I’ve never really been into bodybuilding, instead, I want to be strong, healthy, and athletic. Like a panther. I’m not obsessed with looking like a cover model or counting every last calorie. I believe in smart training that produces results.
I love travelling, movies, good food, and learning new languages, which are my passions outside of training. I have seen certain films over 15 times, such as Scarface, Goodfellas, Gladiator, Superman, Sinbad Of The Seven Seas (with Lou Ferrigno, lol).
